Why not discuss the readings?  Books are not always read because the reader agrees or approves of the writing.  It is sometimes to learn, to explore, and to consider new perspectives.  Any books for consideration on this site are seen as neutral.  You are welcome to tell us what you thought of them.  In fictional writing in particular, one suspends their disbelief long enough to fully comprehend the author's meaning.  Suggestions as to books we might feature are also appreciated.
